For new service, a completed application, valid mailing address, and a verification of ID are required prior to time services are needed. A service connection fee of $150 shall be assessed to all applications for utility services. These services include, but are not limited to: water, trash, sewer, electric and the municipal pool.
Direct payments of utilities is available. Customers who sign up for direct payment will have their monthly bill debited from their bank account on or around the thirteenth of each month. They are also mailed a copy of the monthly bill from the city on the first day of each month for bookkeeping purposes, unless e-billing is chosen in the online portal. Anyone interested can enroll online at the FrontDesk Portal after they have received their first bill in the mail.
A Levelized Payment Program is also available, which allows customers to pay the same amount every month for a period of one year. No additional fees are charged to participate in the program. To be eligible, customers must have twelve months’ payment history by October 1 and the customer’s account must be paid in full each month by the due date for the entire prior year. The program begins on November 1st of each year. Customers must sign up to participate by October 1st. Please contact City Hall for more information and an enrollment form.
