We love progress! But it can also be inconvenient at times. This may be one of those times. KDOT/RoadSafe is currently closing the south lane going Eastbound, starting at the 700 block of E Ave A, out past the city limits for striping. Additionally, there will be striping activity for the next two weeks on the highway between Dodge City and Cimarron as that project nears completion. Temporary pain for a long term gain!

I'm lost and looking for my family!!!
This pup was picked up today. He has a collar, but no tags. If you know him, let his people know we have him. If he is yours, contact City Hall at 620-855-2215 or come by 119 S Main St.

Wow! The new Casey's store is coming together quickly and we can't wait to get in there! With that being said, we will need a way to get in and out of the parking lot. Since we don't all have 4-wheel drive, Zernco will need to pour an entrance or two. We have been notified that they will need to close the outside, westbound lane of Avenue A for a bit to do so. They are planning to do this May 19-23. We will put out a reminder as we get closer, but wanted everyone to be able to plan accordingly.

These doggos are available for adoption as of 05-08-25. For more information or to fill out an Adoption Application, stop by City Hall at 119 S Main St or call 620-855-2215. The $100 adoption fee covers spay/neuter and required vaccines.

Pssst! Guess what!? We officially have a tentative opening date for the Cimarron City Pool this summer, 2025! We hope to see everyone on May 19th!
